First off, I would like to thank all of you who have helped me retweet the Steelo “Night of Dance” benefit. It’s happening tonight! If you don’t know what happened, my friend Richard “Steelo” Vasquez who is an amazing b-boy suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm (4 to be exact while undergoing through surgery) and is finally recovering. He is re learning to walk and talk again but we all believe he will make a full recovery. The dance community is putting together an amazing benefit for him this evening and all the proceeds will go to him and his family to help pay for his hospital bills. It’s really wonderful to see a community come together to help a friend in need. Performances will include Illuminate, The LXD, Super Crew, Jabbawockeez and many more! Zoe was patiently waiting for her thanksgiving meal- spoiled!
Right now she is curled up at my feet snoring, yup snoring!
Believe it or not, this was an assignment I had for geometry back in the 10th grade. It still hangs in the hallway!
So we wrapped our filming sessions at the house yesterday, ad it was bittersweet to see it end. I have come to love my castmates and crew. My character, Bethany, has taught me a lot about my self! It was an honor to play such an insightful, dorky, and smart@$$ character as she was. Myself and a few of the other members of the cast do have one more scene and then it’s over!
